Introduction
Portable power distribution for emergency and special event power is inherently prone to equipment failures and legal liability. Even though you send out your equipment in full working order to a job site, there is no guarantee that it will be returned in the same functional condition when the project is complete. Cables and panels can be damaged during use or they can be modified by the end user to suit their needs. In most cases, you have no way of knowing that the returned equipment is properly wired or functioning. Until now.

The Power Distribution Test Platform was developed to rapidly test power distribution cables and panels as they enter or exit your warehouse, or even directly at the project site before setup. Testing is fast and efficient; taking just 1-second to evaluate and diagnose a 5-wire cable.

No special training or handling is required. As fast as your technician can plug a cable into the tester, a result is displayed on the color touch-screen monitor to indicate a pass/fail condition. More importantly, if the cable does not pass the testing, the system will accurately diagnose the problem and notify the technician what aspect of the cable or panel needs repair. No more guessing or random troubleshooting to correct faulty equipment. The tester will do it all for you.

The Power Distribution Tester uses sophisticated microprocessor-based diagnostic routines to evaluate and diagnose power distribution equipment. When a fault is detected, the tester will evaluate the cause of the fault and display the results in easy to understand messages on the display. Repairing a damaged cable is faster and more efficient when you already know what the fault is before the repair begins.

The size, shape, and configuration of the tester can be customized to suit your needs. Each tester is designed specifically for the types of cables you use, and the enclosure can be designed for portable or bench top use.
